Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Josephine-Louise Public Library grew from the concern of local people who recognized the importance of a strong library for our community.
The Friends group is a non-profit volunteer organization which was started in 1991. They meet every fourth Thursday of the month. Membership in the Friends is open to everyone. Be as involved as your time allows; meetings are not mandatory. Membership dues are annual:
Individual -- $5.00
Family -- $20.00
Senior -- $2.50
Student -- $2.50

The Friends have recently started an informal book discussion group which meets every third Thursday of the month, to discuss topics such as authors, favorite genres, themes, etc. Drop in!
Meetings held at the Library. For further information, please call (845)778-7621. (No meetings in July, August, and December).
