Circulation Policy

Residents of Palisades and Sparkill with proof of residency are eligible for library cards.

Adult Books: 14 and 28 day loan, $0.10 per day fine, maximum $8.00 per item fine.
Juvenile Books: 28 day loan, $0.05 per day fine, maximum $4.00 per item fine.
Books on Tape: 14 day loan, $0.10 per day fine, maximum $8.00 per item fine.
Videos: 7 day loan, $2.00 per day fine, maximum $10.00 per item fine
Magazines: 7 day loan, $0.10 per day fine, maximum fine price of periodical.
Audios, Videos, or Oversize books left in book drop: $2.00 fine

Patrons will be billed for lost material. Borrowing privileges will be denied if patron has 3 overdue items, over $3.00 in fines, or any item overdue 3 weeks or more.
