Late Fees: Maximum Charges is $8.00 for adult items,
$4.00 for children’s items, and $15.00 for DVDs, Videos, and CD-ROMs.

 

Borrowing Policy:

 

Orangeburg Library subscribes to the overall borrowing policies of the Ramapo Catskill Library System.

 

Patrons must have a valid RCLS ANSER Card to borrow materials from the library.

 

Borrowing privileges of any patron having outstanding fines, overdue materials, or damaged or lost materials may be denied until the matter is rectified.

 

Patrons borrowing library materials assume full responsibility for those materials.

 

Renewals are not allowed on any materials that have a reserve on them.

 

If a patron has paid for a lost item and later finds it, no refund will be issued.  The patron may keep that item.

 

 

Materials will not be checked out to patrons for the following reasons:

 

 

&   3 items lost	&   3 items claimed returned
&   Any combination of 3 lost/claimed returned items	&   3 items overdue
&   Any one item overdue for more than 3 weeks	&   $3.00 or more in overdue fines
