On Saturday, November 29th the 1960 film "Pollyanna" will be shown at 3:00 PM. An all-star cast, including Jane Wyman, Richard Egan, Karl Malden, Adnes Moorehead, and a young Hayley Mills, brings to life the story of an orphan who brings sunshine into the lives of everyone she meets. Harley Mills received a Special Academy Award for her performance in this classic Disney film.

On Wednesday, October 29th at 6:00 PM, Jan Berlin from Everything Animals, Inc. will present "Animals in Superstitions". Come to the Children's Room to meet some of the animals and find out why rabbit's feet are thought to bring good luck and black cats bring bad! |

Beginning September 27th, come to the Children's Room just before closing on Saturday for a free family movie! The movie will start at 3:00 PM. Please use driveway entrance if you arrive after the main library closes. Movie will be announced in the library and on this web page the week before the show. Most shows will be family fare and "G" rated. The 1st Saturday of each month will be designated as "Teen Week". The movie that week will be selected for an older audience and may be rated "PG" or "PG-13". Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Snacks and drinks in a closed container will be permitted during the show. |

There is a new day and time for our preschoolers' story time. Story Time will resume on Friday September 19 at 10:30 AM. Story time is free and open to all 3 and 4 year old children. A parent or caregiver must accompany each child. Registration is requested, just phone or drop by the Children's Room. |
