Turneur-Hutton House

Michael Turneur, a son-in-law of Hendrick Oblenis, built this
sandstone house. It was one of four houses built by the Oblenis family prior to the Revolution. This home is on the
National Register of Historic Places. The house is situated on the curve of Sickletown Road. It is a classic
example of an 18th century Dutch colonial farm house. A construction date of 1731 is written over the front entrance.
