Celebrating Our Community in Technology: I SPY

The Ramapo Catskill Library System's I Spy project has been based on a very successful project initiated by the Mohawk Valley Library Association. Their I Spy site can be found at http://www.mvla.org/ispy/

After admiring the MVLA site, the Youth Services Technology Users Group (YSTUG) of the Ramapo Catskill Library System decided to investigate starting their own I Spy project. MVLA encouraged other libraries to imitate their project; and also allowed RCLS to use the graphics orginally created for the MVLA I Spy project.

However, without any grant or budget, RCLS had to scale down some of the features of MVLA's project. We did not produce t-shirts, brochures, or game cards; nor did we sponsor walking tours in conjunction with our project.
