Distributed listing of Foreign Language Collection Development Resources and listing of sources for recommended books for young readers in foreign language. Discussed difficulty of fulfillment from standard vendors, need to purchase direct from publishers.

Welcome and Introductions.
CLOUSC plans for 2013-2014
•    Discussed and decided to retain 3 years in print as reference archive for CLOUSC.
•    End-of-Year event: possible Elant Nursing Home Community room or School Board meeting room. Event will be catered and feature Bryan Collier.
•    Recap of Summer Reading Workshop on March 17th at RCLS. Helpful to have YouTube manual instruction. Schece themed room decoration ideas discussed.
CLOUSC Award Committee: CLOUSC Award nominations deadline 4/15.
SRP planning and Newspaper Inserts: Summer Reading Straus Newspapers meeting took place, in production for distribution.
    End of Year Author, CLOUSC Award Winner and Luncheon Event: Monday, June 2, 2014 Location still TBA, speaker will be Bryan Collier, who will bring books and prints for sale and signing at catered Luncheon.

Book Share – Topic: Favorite Multicultural books. Max learns sign language, Grace Lin titles, Say Hello, You and Me together, Suzanne Bloom’s Bus for Us, Girls A to Z, Global Babies, review notables list.
